The Braun ThermoScan® 7 is the flagship among the thermometers from Braun.  This ear thermometer features the new patented Age Precision® technology for age-dependent setting of fever thresholds, which provides more certainty about your child's health status.

This new color-coded Age Precision display helps to interpret the temperature correctly for all age groups.  Because fever does not start at the same body temperature at every age.

This means that 3 levels can be set (0-3 months, 3-36 months, 36 months - adults) and then the measurement result can be easily read using the colour coding green (normal temperature), yellow (increased temperature), red (high temperature).
