Contec ABPM 60 long-term blood pressure monitor

The Contec ABPM60 is a very small ambulatory long-term blood pressure monitor that has been specially developed for continuous monitoring of blood pressure and pulse rate over a period of up to 24 hours. It automatically measures blood pressure and pulse rate on the upper arm at predetermined time intervals, which can be variably set between 5 and 240 minutes. The measurement results are recorded completely automatically and do not require manual note taking by the patient. This device provides a reliable basis for accurate medical diagnoses as it documents blood pressure and pulse rate dynamically and seamlessly. The device has a memory function for up to 500 measurements, which can then be analyzed and visualized on a PC. The German-language Windows software included in the scope of delivery offers a user-friendly environment for detailed analysis of the stored data. It is also possible to create reports in PDF format for forwarding to medical professionals such as doctors.

Important parameters such as patient name, ID, time and date, time intervals, day and night cycles and alarm settings when limit values are exceeded can be conveniently configured using the supplied PC software (Windows only) before the long-term measurement. These settings are then simply transferred to the Contec ABPM60 and saved.

Note on use:
In principle, blood pressure monitors are not subject to the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV) as long as they are not used without a doctor's prescription. However, if the product is medically necessary and is provided on the basis of a doctor's prescription, it is subject to the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV) and requires instruction.
